Please follow these steps to earn HRCI recertification credits. 

For webinars, please follow these steps:

  1. Please click on one of the thumbnail images or links of the activity you wish to complete.
  2. A new window will open with a form. Please fill out the form with the requested information. Click "Submit."
  3. You will given a link to the webinar in the window, or the link will be sent to the email address you entered. 
  4. Open the link to the webinar. You may have to download additional software to view the presentation. 
  5. Watch or download the webinar. The pre-approved activity ID number will be given towards the end or at the very end of the presentation. Please note that the activity ID number is valid only for 2016. If you completed the activity in in 2015, please contact info@hrci.org. If you are unable to find the activity ID, don't worry. You can still report the activity in the Self-Directed Learning Category.
  6. Make sure you capture a screenshot of your desktop before you close out the webinar. You can use the screenshot image as documentation for completing the activity. You will not receive any official documentation from HRCI. 
  7. Log in to your HRCI.org account and add the activities to your profile, along with your screenshot documentation. For instructions on how to add activities to your profile, please see this Step-by-Step Guide.

For Strategic HR + Innovation Webcasts, please follow these steps: 

  1. Please click on the Strategic HR + Innovation Webcast thumbnail image or link.
  2. A new webpage will open with descriptions of each webcast. Click the red "Watch this Webcast" button. 
  3. A new window will open with a form. Please fill out the form with the requested information. Click "Submit."
  4. The link to the webcast will be sent to the email address you entered. 
  5. Open the link to the webcast.
  6. Watch or download the webinar. The pre-approved activity ID number will be given towards the end or at the very end of the presentation. Please note that the activity ID number is valid only for 2016. If you completed the activity in in 2015, please contact info@hrci.orgIf you are unable to find the activity ID, don't worry. You can still report the activity in the Self-Directed Category.

For the Rise of HR, please follow these steps:

  1. Please click on The Rise of HR thumbnail image or link.
  2. A new page will open. Scroll down about mid-way through the page to find the purple links to download the book. 
  3. To download the PDF version, please click the link. 
  4. This will open up a form. Please fill out the form and click "Submit". 
  5. Once you submit your information, the PDF will open up in a new tab. 
  6. Please note there is no pre-approved activity ID number for the e-Book.  In order to earn credits, please submit the book title, The Rise of HR, in the Professional Development: Self-Directed Category of your online application along with an explanation of how you applied what you have learned from reading the book.
